october crush list!

1. tan otk boots Usually when I grab an OTK I look for second-skin aesthetics in black or rich jewel tones, but ever since snagging the dv Marilyn at Target {for under $50!}, I have been so feeling the rustic look of saddle, slightly slouchy OTKs, and have been racking up a list of favorites that I need to add to my shoedrobe like yesterday! First up is Vince Camuto's Melaya Over the Knee Boot in BARK SUEDE {perfect color!}, Steve Madden's Eternul Over the Knee Block Heel Boot in CHESTNUT SUEDE {perfect pricepoint!}, and Dolce Vita's Cash Over the Knee Boot in ACORN SUEDE {that stitched detailing!}. Thoughts?

2. olive knits Olive will forever be one of my favoritefavoritefavorite shades {especially during the autumn months}, but lately the challenge I've found is unearthing olive knits that don't fall into that muddy, brown-leaning spectrum {not an easy task!}; so I was thrilled when I spotted Topshop's Zip Side Sweater in OLIVE, and Free People's Bell Sleeve Sweater in OLIVE. The former features an olive shade that seriously slays; the latter has a heartbreakingly beautiful design {those sleeves! that neckline!} that I simply can't resist. The verdict? Pretty sure I need them both in my life!

3. logo studs When it comes to earrings I have two tried and true bffs: the huge hoops, or the oversize diamond studs, so it has come to a huge surprise to me that I cannot stop thinking about logo studs {I know, right?!}. I love the classic feel of Tory Burch's Logo Circle Stud Earrings in SHINY GOLD; Marc Jacobs' Enamel Logo Disc Stud Earrings in CREAM, my personal fave, are just perfect for pairing with everything; and Tory Burch's Logo Stud Earrings in SHINY GOLD are a timeless staple that would look decadent coupled with equestrian-inspired ensembles. Can I have them all?!

4. matte eyes I'm a v strong proponent of sparkly gold eyelids, but e.l.f. was awesome enough to send me their Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palette a few weeks back, and I am smitten. I love how autumn-esque an all-matte eye feels and have been rocking it day and night. Next on my to-buy list? Urban Decay's Naked Ultimate Basics. I've had a years-long love affair with the original Naked Basics palette, so I am preetty sure I'll dig the latest!
