My personal favorite inclusions are the Bath & Body Works Socks which are just ridiculously cute and insanely cozy {I'm wearing them now!}; and the stud earrings, because I live for oversized studs, and these ones are sparkly to the tenth power!

Morgan Taylor Glitter & Glitz 4PC Mini Set Swatches + Review

After the pure amazingness that was the Morgan Taylor Wrapped In Glamour 4PC Mini Set, I immediately purchased Morgan Taylor's second release for holiday 2016 {because #givemeallthechristmaspolish}, the Morgan Taylor Glitter & Glitz 4PC Mini Set {which feels v New Year's Eve-worthy}, and let me tell you ladies: it was every bit as decadent! The colors, the formulas...they twinkle tantalizingly and will undoubtedly make your holiday merry and bright!

Time to Shine is a Smoky Charcoal Silver Glitter in a Clear Base. While silvers rarely grab my attention, there's something about a smoky charcoal that I can never resist; thus, Time to Shine was a surprise favorite of mine in this quartet - and def a shade that will make your holiday a little brighter. While slightly sheer; this one builds to opacity beautifully. Like all microglitters, however, it does try to pull back from the tip of the nail, so you kind of have to pile it on in that area. This is 3 coats.

Let Them Eat Cake is a Multi-color Microglitter in a Clear Base. As a lover of all things Marie Antoinette, I can confidently say that the lady of the hour would most certainly approve of Let Them Eat Cake. Though I rarely swoon over a multi-color glitter, this one hits all the right notes by focusing on wintry, cool tones reminiscent of macarons. With one coat this would make a beautiful topper for a pastel polish; with a trio of coats, you wind up with glitterbomb opacity this is pure decadence. This is 3 coats.

J'Adore My Mani is a Fuchsia Glitter in a Fuchsia Jelly Base. Le sigh, I truly can't think of anything better to say than...j'adore this color! But seriously...this right here is just too breathtaking for words. J'Adore My Mani is one of those rare shades that gives you that love at first swipe feel, and would literally work for any holiday {but I love it best for Christmas and Valentine's}. This shade is v sheer on coat one, semi-sheer on coat two, then starts building opacity after that. I honestly think that the color in my bottle separated slightly which is why it took so long to build opacity; because it only took two coats to reach opacity on my thumb. This is 4 coats.

Under the Stars is a Dark Navy Blue Jelly with Scattered Silver Holo. Now that is what I'm talking about! Whether you're a fan of dark polishes or not, Under the Stars is bound to capture your heart. The scattered silver holo lends it a holiday-feel; while the so blue it's almost black base gives it a year-round wearability. The formula here was ever so slightly thick; but not so much so that you can't easily work with it. As a lover of dark nails this one right here is one of my faves from the quartet! This is 3 coats.

Three coats of Adesse New York's Organic Infused Liquid Chrome Nail Polish in Grand Central. Eggplant Duochrome.

Grand Central is v reminiscent of OPI's 2013 Peace & Love & OPI, featuring a multifaceted holographic shift of sage and eggplant that is positively yum to look at.

Like most duochromes, the formula here is thin, but builds to opacity with a trio of easy to apply coats.

This isn't a color that I would ordinarily select for myself {I received it in an ipsy bag}; but I did enjoy it for a change from my typical cremes.

I absolutely loved the red glitter lips that Pat McGrath created for the A/W 2016 Atelier Versace runway; and while it seems completely outrageous to rock such a look year-round, the holidays seem the perfect time to try it on for size, amiright? Though McGrath actually created a lip kit featuring everything needed to achieve a shimmering smooch, it's loooong sold out at Sephora, but still easily attainable with the right tools and a few tips {all of which I'm featuring below}.

Mix the red and black glitter together in a small plate or cup, and place it to the side. Swipe the matte red liquid lipstick onto your top lip, then place e.l.f. Cosmetics' Makeup Lock & Seal onto the tip of a small makeup brush {the one included with the product is fantastic}, dip it into the glitter, and dab all over your top lip {do this before the lipstick sets}. The Makeup Lock & Seal intensifies the glitter and color, and helps to keep it in place longer. Repeat on the bottom lip, and voila! Runway-approved shimmering perfection!

{what's in my} ipsy november 2016 glam bag!

Fact: my November Glam Bag from ipsy is officially my all-time fave because it included 5 different products that I use on the daily {as opposed to randoms that I'll try once and toss to the wayside}.

Nail polish? Check! And it just so happens to be a vampy shade that I dig from Formula X Nail. Hand cream? Check! This one from Cake Beauty smells like mint chocolate chip ice cream and is super hydrating/moisturising. Mascara? Check! I love the scoop-like brush on this one from thebalm. Eyeliner? Check! This one from Eyeko is super skinny for creating wings that cut like a knife! Makeup brush? Check! Luxie Beauty brushes are my jam and this one is bomb!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with ipsy, it is a beauty subscription service that costs $10 per month {awesome deal IMO}, and consists of a collectible makeup bag {can also double as a clutch} along with 5 beauty samples that are customized to your personal beauty profile {which you can change/update at anytime}. I love getting subscription boxes, but don't have a ton of extra cash to spare, so I find ipsy to be the best value as each month's bags are adorable, the products are of fantastic quality, and their stylists are top-notch {and some of my fave beauty bloggers}. That being said, let's get to the bag!

November's theme was ROCK STARLET. Inside my bag was a mini size Formula X The Colors Nail Polish in HUNTRESS, full size Delectable by Cake Beauty Sweet Mint & Cream Ultra Nourishing Hand Cream, Luxie Beauty Luxie Rose Gold Small Duo Fiber Brush 524T, sample size theBalm Cosmetics Mad Lash Mascara, and sample size EYEKO Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner Deluxe in BLACK.

Given the fact that I change my nail color so frequently, I am a total snob when it comes to hand creams; so I was ecstatic when I unbagged Delectable by Cake Beauty Sweet Mint & Cream Ultra Nourishing Hand Cream. Ladies, this was love at first squeeze. The texture and density of this is just perfect - it's thick and firm, and not runny at all {thin, runny hand cream is my pet peeve}. The icing on the cake, however, is the scent: a rich, mint chocolate chip-inspired fragrance that is noticeable, but not cloying or overwhelming. I've been using this for over a week now, and my hands are so. soft. I will definitely be buying another tube once I run out! Highly, highly, highly recommended!

Third time's the charm! That's right, another month, another polish in my ipsy bag - let's hope this trend continues! This time I received Formula X The Colors Nail Polish in HUNTRESS and I am loving it! This is one color that remains a mystery until applied to the nail, as it looks black, then olive, then navy in the bottle; then you apply it and it's really a blackened teal shimmer that is insanely decadent! This baby right here applied in one coat. Even better? It did. not. stain. Natch!

When it comes to beauty products, I'm rarely rendered speechless; but OMG ladies EYEKO's Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner Deluxe in BLACK is proving that there's a first time for everything! Crisp cat eyes are my signature, and this right here may be the best tool I have ever used for creating them! The tip is seriously sharp, allowing for a quick swipe to get the job done without smearing or smudging. Whether you're a pro or novice at achieving wings, this will change your life. Obsessing!

I have received numerous makeup brushes from Luxie Beauty since joining ipsy, but I am so not complaining, as I absolutely adore them {their highlight brush is legit an HG product for me}; so of course I was v excited to find Luxie Beauty's Luxie Rose Gold Small Duo Fiber Brush 524T. Not only are these brushes gorgeous to look at; they are such incredible quality! The bristles, though synthetic are super soft, and feel brand new even after washing. I use this particular one with liquid highlighters - stippling it onto the spots where I want to glow - and it truly creates a finish that looks airbrushed. Loves it!

Over the last year, I've grown to love plastic mascara applicator wands. Don't get me wrong, I'm not thrilled with the occasional poky feeling they cause; but I find that they can be a little more precise in coating each lash. That said, I have never seen a plastic applicator with a scoop-like curve to its shape; so I was intrigued when I pulled theBalm Cosmetics' Mad Lash Mascara out of my bag, and saw that it had that rare mold. I like this mascara a lot. The applicator isn't as hard as a lot of plastic applicators I've encountered; and it has a flexible mobility to it that keeps it from feeling pokey when applying. The length this creates is unreal; and while it doesn't add as much volume as I typically like, the spider legs-like effect it does create more than makes up for it.

Essie Getting Groovy Winter 2016 4PC Mini Set Swatches + Review

I'm going to be honest, I almost didn't purchase Essie's Getting Groovy Winter 2016 4PC Mini Set when I first spotted it, because it felt a little too far-out for my festive taste. In fact, I passed it up on countless shopping occasions before finally caving. And you know what? I am so glad that I did, because this quartet is a true conglomeration of funky holiday treasures that I have fallen so hard for. See the prettiness for yourself below!

Satin Sister is a Deep Teal Creme. Typically, I'm not wild about teals, but this one is giving it to me! Satin Sister is a plush peacock that is rich and lush from the first stroke. Formula here is such a treat to work with - it's smooth, flowy, and reaches opacity in a snap! Plot twist: this one doesn't stain upon removal - natch! This is 2 coats.

Getting Groovy is a Sparkling Gold Shimmer . Looking at the bottle alone, I was poised to dislike Getting Groovy due to how yellow-toned it looked; then I applied it to my nails and died a little. The shimmer, the shine! It literally looks like molten gold metal on the nails - precisely what everyone needs for the holidays! Formula here was flawless! Fully opaque in two swipes, and pure decadence to work with. This is 2 coats.

Party On A Platform is a Deep Red Creme. Cheers to brick red polishes that feel festive without falling into the typical classic red category that pops up in every. single. fall. and. winter. collection. Consider that my rant for the day, m'kay? Party On A Platform is the perfect red for giving a subtle nostalgic nod to the 70s while feeling fresh for holiday 2016! This one falls juuust shy of being a OCW, but still works if you're looking for an easy paint job - reaching opacity in just two simple strokes without incident. This is 2 coats.

Ready To Boa is a Burgundy Brown with Iridescent Shimmer. Talk about yum! I liiive for colors like this - those rich shades that make you covet cozy sweaters and roaring fireplaces. And this particular one? Dyiiing over its pretty. Ready To Boa reminds me of hot chocolate, and it's formula is every bit as scrummy. This baby right here was opaque in 1 coat, but yeah, I made it a double for an ultra-decadent finish. This is 2 coats.

The amount of goodies you can find under $50 during the holidays shocks me every. single. year. Take this Sole Society AMALIA Mini Studded Dome Satchel. It's under $45, fits the mini bag trend perfectly, and is ideal for holiday parties or casual outings. I love it so much I want it in both shades {berry and Grey}, and will probably be picking it up in at least one color for a friend.

mark. Nailed it Gift Set - Swatches + Review

mark. hasn't released a polish set since June, so I was expecting something epic for the holidays, and they so didn't disappoint! As opposed to releasing a nail duo {as per their usual strategy}, they created the Nailed It Gift Set - a 4-Piece Gift Set that comes with 2 holiday-perfect metallics, a base coat, and a top coat, all packaged in an adorable baroque-printed box with mini handles! I know, right?! Literally the cutest. idea. ever. And absolutely perfect for gifting! Let's get to the polish!

Foiled Again is a Cocoa Bronze Metallic. Foiled Again captured my eye in the bottle, and captured my heart on the nail. It's not bronze, it's not gold, it's not copper, it's not chocolate; rather, it's a liquefied version of all of the above, creating a hue that I have never, ever seen before, and am head over heels for! This one will tempt, tease, and tantalize from the dinner table to clandestine tête-à-têtes underneath the mistletoe. Trust. Formula here is fab - it can feel a little thick during application; but overall applies evenly and doesn't leave behind those obnoxious streaks that many metallics are prone to do. This is 2 coats.

Silver Swoon is a Silver Metallic. I can't say exactly why I've never been able to find it in my heart to like the color silver as a polish {#sorrynotsorry}; but for those of you who feel swoony over the shade, Silver Swoon is one that will likely make you raise your glass. The formula here is ah-ma-zing. It applies quickly and evenly; and while it is slightly thick, wiping off the excess polish on the lip of the bottle before application tempers that ish. This one is such a beauty for the holiday party circuit! This is 2 coats.

About that base {and top} coat. I am beyond picky about base and top coats, and play favorites; but since a base and top coat were included in this collection, I thought I'd take them out to play. The Verdict? I loved them! Typically, the base coats I use are completely clear; but the base coat included here {called First Base} had a milky/nude/pink tint that I adored, because it concealed staining on my nails {which, when you change your polish as frequently as I do, never. goes. away.}. The top coat {aptly titled Party On Top} was another winner - applying evenly and adding a gorgeous glossy shine. I seriously wish both were available as full-size because I would buy them in a second!
