Living for a bronze #eotd lately! I love using Lorac Travel Size TANtalizer Baked Bronzer {only $8.00 and lasts forever!} in the crease to deepen and add depth, then I apply e.l.f. Aqua Beauty Molten Liquid Eyeshadow in MOLTEN BRONZED for a really metallic finish that makes green eyes pop like whoa!
Ladies, if you haven't tried Molten Bronzed yet, you have no clue what you're missing - run out and get it now!

{beauty board} summer glow
1} e.l.f. Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in ST. LUCIA {$3.99} The shimmer in the blush adds luminosity. NOTE: if shimmer's not your style {who are you even?!}, try the shade FIJI, which gives you a matte finish.
2} Kevyn Aucoin The Neo Bronzer in SIENA {$58.00} Sweep your brush across the palette from right to left then apply directly to the apples of cheeks/cheekbones; or dip your brush into each individual item {bronzer, blush, and highlight} to create a perfectly sunkissed glow!
3} JULEP Skip the Brush Crème-To-Powder Blush Stick in GOLDEN GUAVA {$24.00} and Too Faced Sweethearts Bronzer in SWEET TEA {$30.00} This is my personal daily beauty duo: I first apply Sweet Tea to my cheekbones, forehead, nose, and chin; then I swipe Golden Guava onto the apples of my cheeks, blending it into my skin with a blush brush to make it look more natural. I alwaysalwaysalways get compliments on my skin with this duo, as the golden particles in both the blush and the bronzer make me super glowy!
4} JULEP Skip the Brush Crème-To-Powder Blush Stick in WARM BRONZE {$24.00} and Hourglass Ambient® Lighting Blush in DIM INFUSION {$38.00} A cream bronzer allows you to control the intensity of your color {buff it out with a brush}, and adds dewiness to the skin.
5} Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Summer Glow Multi-Palette {$50.00} If you want a palette that makes you look as if you've spent loads of time at the beach, this one's for you - each shade works in combination to create a subtle, yet noticeable, healthy sheen that is incredibly natural!

NOTD: JULEP Nail Color in Linda
For some reason, I was under the impression that Linda was a putty creme, so imagine my surprise when it turned out to be a medium gray with lilac undertones. Don't get me wrong, I love me some gray polish, but it was a surprise nonetheless.
Linda is one of those classic, staple shades that works for any situation, setting, or season. Is it groundbreaking? Definitely not. But the formula and application is good.

NOTD: JULEP Nail Color in Jessie
Though Jessie is described as being a deep smoky purple shade, in actuality it is a nearly-black creme, which I am totally okay with, because the darker the polish the better - at least IMO.
Formula here was a dream. It applies perfectly, never dancing it's way to the cuticle area, and leveling out with 0 effort from me. If dark is your thang, you'll be smitten with Jessie.

#SPBoxSwap: Swap with Angie of My So-Called Chaos!
This time around I was partnered with the oh-so awesome Angie of My So-Called Chaos, a writer/creative with a soft spot for rescue dogs, Disney Princesses, and Planning. As I told Angie, I'm positive we're kindred spirits, and, as such, she totally knew the key to my heart and spoiled. me. rotten. Take a peek at all of the goodies below!
Can we take a moment to swoon over the cuteness of that stuffed owl? I live for Valentine's plush and have named this little guy Soren after a character in the Guardians of Ga'Hoole book series. True story. My mom already swiped the printed tape from me, because she couldn't get over how cute it was; and my nephews pilfered my box of chocolates, but I managed to hang onto the soap {smells amaze btw}, earrings {they add the most perfect subtle sparkle}, and nail colors {so excited to try both - the colors are incredible, and total lemmings in my collection!}.
Take Note Note Pad | Food Coma Coloring Book | Weekly To Do Task Pad | Scented Jelly Gel Pens
I think I may be the most excited for this lot! I've been trying to get more organized through list-making, so both the Note Pad and Weekly To Do Pad instantly captured my heart; but those Jelly Pens! You guys, these are scented, so they actually smell like various fruits. These take me back to my grade-school-Lisa-Frank-loving-days like whoa! Obseeeeesssed! And that coloring book? Can we just say brilliant?! It's a smorgasbord of unhealthy treats that you basically get to bring to life with the power of color. I adore it! It actually arrived while I was sick with the flu, so it kept me company for a few days!
Thank you Dean and Ashley for, once again, hosting a killer swap! And thank you Angie for being the coolest swap partner! You so nailed this box!

NOTD: JULEP Nail Color in Steph
So...I was ridiculously excited to try this shade on for size, and while the color is chic and classy, the formula was such. a. letdown.
The blue and pink iridescent shimmer throughout Steph keep the color from toeing that harsh white line, making it feel softer, and more ballet-inspired; but the thick yet runny formula makes this a polish I will never use again. Sure, the shade is stunning; but when you're chasing a polish out of your cuticles on each stroke, it's simply not worth it. Tossing this one.

november 2016 empties!
I'm not gonna lie, I bought NYX Cosmetics' Butter Gloss in the shade Sunday Mimosa {$4.99} because I liked the name of the color. Unfortunately, that was not a good idea, because I found the color to be too dark for my fair skintone. That said, after a bit of trial and error, I was able to get it to work for me to an extent. Sunday Mimosa is a bright pink-leaning coral with a v strong color payoff that felt too loud for my preference; however, when I applied 3 dabs of it to my lower lip, then used my ring finger to smooth it out, the color was more muted and wearable. I love how moisturizing and long-wearing NYX's Butter Glosses are; you just need to be careful with the colors you select. DEFINITE RE-BUY {in a different shade}.
I feel like everyone is always raving about FRESH's Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment {$26.00}, so I was super excited to receive a deluxe sample of it for my birthday; but I wasn't in love. Don't get me wrong, it is ridiculously hydrating and moisturizing, and really makes my lips feel fantastic; however, I found that the formula was a bit too soft in the tube, causing the stick to break repeatedly. Additionally, the overall result was nearly identical to what I achieve with NIVEA's Kiss Of Care & Color Sheer, and since that retails for just $4.99, I think I'll stick with that. NOT a re-buy.
While I haven't been a fan of Marc Jacobs lotions in the past, when I received a deluxe sample of Marc Jacobs Fragrances Daisy Dream Luminous Body Lotion {$45.00}; but, like the last one I tried, I'm just not a fan. Admittedly, Daisy Dream seemed slightly thicker in texture, which was my biggest qualm about Daisy; but it still felt too runny IMO, and that's never a good feeling when we're talking lotions. Fragrance-wise this one was a winner, being v light and airy; but it wasn't enough to prompt a future purchase. NOT a re-buy.
I absolutely live for glosses that add radiance to your entire face, and JULEP Lip Gloss Sheer Moisturizing Gloss in POLISHED {$20.00} is tops for that effect. Ladies, I seriouslyseriously love this shade {and formula}. Polished is a super pale peachy pink meets nude that adds just a hint of color coupled with a whole lot of shine. It has a slightly tacky feeling when applied to lips, which I actually don't mind, because it stays in place for up to 4 hours {even if you're eating or drinking. My issue with it is the price. I find $20.00 to be an outrageous amount for the size of the tube - especially in comparison with the asking price of higher-end glosses. DEFINITE RE-BUY {when on sale}.
Have you tried any of these products before? Thoughts?

NOTD: JULEP Nail Color in DeAnn
Maybe I've just been missing vampy manis, but from the second I applied DeAnn to my nails I've been like OMG where have you been all my life?! Seriously though, I. love. this. color.
DeAnn could easily be billed as your standard bordeaux hue, but the berry undertones add a bit of a plummy dimension, making it look a little more black cherry than anything else.
Formula here was flawless. This was literally the smoothest polish I have ever worked with - applying evenly and perfectly with minimal effort. You need this one for fall babes!

4th of July weekend seemed like the best time to bust out a blue-like liner. I am L-O-V-I-N-G this cream eyeliner from e.l.f. in the shade teal tease - it adds major definition and flirt, feels fresh for summer, and def checks off those mermaid / festival vibe boxes!

may crush list!
2. daring drape Tanks are basically my second skin come summertime - I wear them all. the. time. For that reason, I am forever trying to find tops featuring interesting aesthetics or prints to make my day-to-day uniform a little less boring. My latest love? Free People's Bull's Eye Wrap in IVORY and BLACK. That drape seriously slays - being daring without feeling OTT. I think I need it in both colors. Just saying.
3. gilded collars Long pendant necklaces are usually my thang, but my heart has been hijacked by the complete opposite: collars. I'm craving them in gold, snake-y styles paired with glowy, sunkissed skin and beachy waves. On my need, want, must-have list: BaubleBar's Night Fever Collar, and Sole Society's Rope Statement Necklace in GOLD. Tell me you love them.
4. never enough glow Highlight is my one true love. For reals though. I love it in bronze-y finishes that make you look like you're dripping in gold. BECCA's Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed in CHAMPAGNE POP is my can't-live-without HG, but I'm dying to try a few new shades just to switch it up a bit. Currently on my wish list: Laura Mercier's Face Illuminator Powder in ADDICTION {almost too pretty to use tbh}, and Bobbi Brown's Highlighting Powder in BRONZE GLOW. What's your favorite highlighter?
