Tightwad Tuesday: Gianni Bini Louisa Dress for Less

Darlings, to the left you will find Gianni Bini’s luxurious Louisa Dress; to the right you will find the Navy I Do, Navy I Don’t Dress from Lulu*s.

While the Lulu*s lovely is constructed out of a blend of cotton, polyamide, and spandex, as opposed to the stretch sateen which makes up the blissful Bini offering; for a mere $69.00, as opposed to the $148.00 required to bring the ravishing Louisa home, it is every bit as stunning – and sure to cause a stir with the entire Seventh Fleet!

Tell me, kittens…will you be a big spender and go for Gianni Bini, or be thrifty and spring for Lulu*s?

Fashionably yours!

Thanks to Dillard’s and Lulu*s for the pictures.

I like Lulu*s only because I like that the stripes on the bottom are thinner.

They look so similar, I'll take the lulu's. I like the play on words with the style name, too.

That must be the same dress, worn by other people! No, just kidding, but I think Lulu*s, it's just as cute as the other one and it's way cheaper!
Btw, thanks for leaving a comment on my blog, I really appreciate it :D

Its crazy how similar in print these are but the cost is so different...but im sure that has to do with fabric and labor.

BonBon Rose Girls Kristin said...

I like the thinner stripe on the bottom of the Lulu's number!

Caitlin @ Candyfloss & Persie said...

I would cheap out!!! I think thinner stripes are more flattering anyway :) These ones are so close though it's amazing.

Wow, I seriously think I'm seeing double here! You're really amazing the way you locate and pair up all of these items, Erika!

Style Eyes said...

Definitely the Lulu one. At that price you can't go wrong. Both are gorgeous though.

Style with Benefits said...

Again, how do you do it?! I actually prefer the Lulu*s dress because of the thinner stripes on the bottom. Overall, it looks more flattering and attractive.

Another great carbon copy find!

xo, becs

Anna Grostina said...

I would go for none of them, because I like Lulu*s, but I don't think its that speciel to pay 70 dollars for, I like Gianni Bini's more than Lulu*s, but I still wouldn't pay 140$ for it, but if I could have it for free... Gianni Bini. :D
