links à la mode: the IFB weekly roundup {july 7, 2016 edition}

Outfits can tell a story without words. They express things like where we are going, what we are celebrating, current mood, and even our patriotism. While rose quartz and serenity are the colors of the year, red, white, and blue were the colors of the week. Celebrating the 4th of July holiday was the obvious reason but I also think they are great colors of Summer–they speak of cherry pie with whipped cream and blueberries or in other words, they spell picnic. {I’m hungry}.

IFB Bloggers shared many of their current favorite trends. Nothing new here but the enthusiasm still hasn’t diminished. Off the shoulder looks, two piece dress ensembles, rompers, and skate skirt silhouettes. Also, basics like white t-shirts, sneakers, and denim. Favorites beyond wardrobe are mini backpacks, tasseled accessories, and products to achieve that perfect Summer glow without the perspiration. Anyone traveling to Vegas or Japan? IFB Bloggers have you covered. You’re bound to add at least one new idea to your itinerary.
