♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥

Wearing: Heritage 1981 Cable Knit Cardigan in Cream; Forever 21 Fab Ribbed Knit Tank in Coral; Dark wash denim shorts from Forever 21; Pelle Moda Yaritza Platform Sandals in Cuoio; Forever 21 Mixed Bangle Set in Gold; Owl Ring from Forever 21; House of Harlow 1960 Key Cocktail Ring (if you hadn’t already noticed; I wear this ring quite often).

Reading: TASCHEN’s New York - a volume that brings a mix of sophistication, glamour, and whimsy straight to your coffee table. I feel as if I have been sucked into the classique vortex that is the Big Apple whenever I so much as open its pages!

Glamourizing: Nails: Forever 21 Love and Beauty Pink Petals Nail Polish – this is honestly THE perfect Barbie pink – as Aqua said…“I’m a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world…”! (This shade appears to have been discontinued; but China Glaze's Something Sweet, Forever 21's Love & Beauty in Bubble Gum, or Nubar's Hotel Baby Pink will give you a similar look). Lips: Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in Slice of Heaven. Eyes: mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Biscotti.

Listening: Round & Round by Selena Gomez & The Scene. I could attribute my love of this song to the fact that it plays every single time I’m strolling through the aisles of Target; but I think it is more appropriate to simply admit the truth…it is incredibly catchy and addicting, therefore j’adore.

Adoring: American Apparel’s Shawl Cardigan. Since this arrived two weeks ago - courtesy of American Apparel - I have taken to wearing it nonstop despite the 90+-degree heat – it makes me feel like a cross between Patrick Dennis’ Auntie Mame and a devastating French woman who flits through her Parisian apartment and brunches on flaky croissants. ♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥ - oui, this very series; I have far too much fun putting it together each week! Sofia Coppola movie marathons – she is a genius, plain and simple.

Watching: Eloise at Christmastime. Let’s put it in simpler terms, shall we, mes amours? Kay Thompson’s beloved if not a bit precocious Eloise + New York City – specifically, The Plaza Hotel - at Christmastime + un petit romance between the fiery six-year-old and a born prince = perfection personified. Do watch it tout de suite if you have yet to, my loves!

Desiring: Deborah Lippmann’s All That Jazz Color Trio. Glitter! Need. Want. Love. The. End. Dracu-family Marzipan Figures. I honestly don’t even know what marzipan is; nevertheless, it’s Dean & DeLuca so you know they’ll be amazing. Plus…cuteness! Rebecca Taylor’s Femme Military Cardigan – I would gladly live in this cozy knit should it somehow find its way into my possession; it is like something out of a dream!

Quoting: Charla Lawhon - “It may sound odd, but I tend to identify the events in my life by the shoes I wore at the time.”

Awaiting: Alloy’s Veronique Pendant Necklace. This accessory alone will be responsible for dressing up all of my basic tees come fall - amour to the tenth power!

But enough about moi; let’s talk about…vous. Time to give me the lowdown on your life, lovers! What are you up to this week?

Fashionably yours!

What am I up to? Well it seems like I need to see Eloise at Christmastime stat.

I also appreciate the fact that you're thinking about the holidays already. As soon as the fall hits, all I can think about is our annual holiday party. That and Mariah Carey Merry Christmas :)

Ahaha I love Eloise! And I've adored the Femme Miltary Cardigan ever since you posted it in links a few weeks back. As for marzipan it's this sugar + almond mix that can be molded into all sorts of things. Everyone I know either loves it or hates it, not many are neutral :)

I love that shawl from American apparel too! And that quote really hits home with me. Love it! There are so many times I remember an event/night/important day of my life and I can always remember what I wore and how it made me feel.

Yes, those boots from yesterday are Steve Madden! I love the tall ones too! I just went to Bloomingdales last night and got the short ones. Cannot wait to wear them!

I am absolutely loving this series...it's a great read and helps us learn so much more about you! The Veronique Pendant Necklace is gorgeous...gorgeous buy on your part. I can see why you would be anxiously awaiting it.

...and thanks for bringing Aqua's Barbie Girl back into my head for the first time in way too long. I imagine it'll be a struggle to get it back out over the next several hours!

I love that quote. When I met the man I want to marry I was wearing my most comfortable and cutest black flats. When he told me felt the same I was wearing pink patent leather BGBG heels. When we broke up I was barefoot ...

Moral of the story - bad things happen when you're not wearing cute shoes.

oh, that pendant looks amazing! i need something like it for fall, too... i seem to be spending all my time studying lately - that, and dreaming about all the clothes, shoes and accessories i need for fall and winter, and worrying about how to afford it all.. :P

I can't wait to go sweater shopping, I have already started looking all over the internet for fabulous fall and winter scores!

That Femme Military Cardigan is super cute. Loving it!

You definitely should show your sister the stroller. It glides and turns so easily and with just a couples button presses it's flattened out for traveling. :)
