♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥

Wearing: Xhilaration Military Jacket in Green via Target; Forever 21 Cherish Crepe Chiffon Dress in Taupe; Pelle Moda Yaritza Platform Sandal in Cuoio; Susan Lucci Prim and Proper Round Stone and Simulated Pearl Cluster Ring in Goldtone.

Reading: Madame Pamplemousse and Her Incredible Edibles by Rupert Kingfisher. Literally one of the most enchanting books I have ever laid hands on. I can’t say what is more charming…Kingfisher’s prose or the irrésistible illustrations by Sue Hellard. L'aimer!

Glamourizing: Nails: OPI Sanguine – 1/4th of the OPI Go Goth! Halloween 2010 Mini Collection. I basically need a full-size bottle of this shade - tout de suite! Utterly phenom! Lips: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Nude Lustre. Eyes: mark Twinklebelle in Gold – just as effective on one’s eyes as it is on one’s entire face and shoulders. Magnifique!

Listening: Cold Hearted by Paula Abdul. Old school Paula; oh, how j’adore you!

Adoring: Orly’s Cosmic FX Collection. Though I’ve only purchased Space Cadet and Lunar Eclipse myself, I can assure you that there is only one way to describe these luscious lacquers…out of this world. L'amour, l'amour, l'amour! The fast approach of my préféré holiday…Thanksgiving! In my dreams I shall be wearing BCBGMAXAZRIA’s Oversized Sweater Dress; and I’ll whip up the perfect Pumpkin Cheesecake in a Gingersnap Crust. As I said…in…my…dreams. Floral Knit Headbands a la Whitney Port’s Anthropologie pretty.

Watching: I Know What You Did Last Summer. Apparemment I am on some sort of 90s teen suspense/horror film kick; but in all seriousness, it’s Sarah Michelle Gellar pre-Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame…what’s not to love?

Desiring: Kenneth Cole New York ‘No Pain Grosgrain’ Satchel. In my mind this is the pièce de résistance of purses; the holy grail of handbags, if you will. I don’t believe I have ever desired any one item as much as I desire this chic carryall at this very moment - besoin, amour, convoiter…! The Vampire Diaries: The Complete First Season. Un petit voice within has convinced me that this show is destined to become my new obsession. James Jeans’ Twiggy 5 Pocket Legging Jeans – I mourir at the color! If only my size weren’t sold out…I would have made these beautés mine long ago!

Quoting: Coco Chanel - “The most courageous act is to think for yourself. Aloud.”

Awaiting: mark Glow Baby Glow Luxe Hook Up Lip Gloss in Sun Luxe and mark Pro Gloss Hook Up Plumping Lip Shine in Spice and Sexy. The scorching summer heat was extrêmement unkind to my lip gloss collection, resulting in nearly every tube having to be thrown away; therefore, the replacement process has begun!

But enough about moi; let’s talk about…vous. Time to give me the lowdown on your life, lovers! What are you up to this week?

Fashionably yours!

Immersed in putting a few finishing touches on my memoir manuscript this week. Also went to book event at the local college, where authors read from a recently released anthology of their work. Definitely a very writing-type week going on.

looooooove everything about this post! So fun to get a little glimpse into your world. :) I'll tell you some funny ones: I am WEARING my XL Tim Riggins jersey, wishing he were wrapping his studly arms around me; DRINKING persecco, READING a freakin' 74 page interview that I have to turn into a first person narrative by tonight (yes, TONIGHT!), and WISHING I were sitting outside on a beach listening to the waves. Geez!

Orly's Cosmic FX Collection is to die for! I'm totally obsessing about metallic nail polish right now. The question for me, living in Michigan is where can I find it?!?!?
