Tightwad Tuesday: Stuart Weitzman Friller Pump for Pennies

Kitty cats, in the left corner steal a glance at Stuart Weitzman’s fantastical Friller Pump; in the right corner feast your eyes upon Enzo Angiolini’s sassy Sweetness Sandal.

While the ambrosial Angiolini’s proffer a slightly higher heel to the wearer (4 ½” in comparison to the 4” of the Weitzman’s), and feature a darker-colored platform; for just $98.95, as opposed to the $375.00 required to steal the stylish Stuart’s, they are the budget babe’s answer to feminine footwear – and leave one with enough cash left over to snag both the Black Patent / Leather Multi and Pink Patent / Pink Leather, in addition to the Light Natural / Patent featured here!

So mes chéris, what are you up to today? Will your AmEx take a beating with a splurge, or will you stay safe and thrifty with a frugal buy?

Fashionably yours!

These look so light and summery! Amazing how close they are - I see only the hell height in difference really. But I will have to pass on both. Not my style really. Beautiful though!

I like 'em both!

Enzo Angiolini .... Cute, I actually like the wood platform more.
I think they are still dressy but you can get away wearing them in a more casual way if the platform is in wood.
Definitely saving my $$$$.

I really love the Angiolinis and their more solid color. As much as Stuart Weitzman makes me happy, I love Enzo's shoes that much more. I hope you feel better soon, E. :)

Very cute, but I am in savings mode. Sigh...I won't even be getting the knockoffs.

I'm gonna be frugal! There are so many things I want this spring that I figure stretching the dollar is the way to go. I really want an expensive bag so I am thinking that is gonna be where my splurge happens!

A must have. Great find.

Such a close call! I prefer the platform color of the Weitzmans, but I rarely find the price of their shoes to reflect the quality, so I'd go for the Enzos!

week after week I am amazed at how you find the best matches! These are adorable! xo

I'm going to go with the Angiolini's...mainly because they come in my size...is that cheating :). Can't argue with the price either, though!

The Enzo shoes for sure! I have a pair of Enzo and they are great shoes! Don't see the reason to get any pricier with the Stuart ones if you ask me!

I would go with the Enzo's, can't really tell the difference and not something I would wear every day so would definitely be a budget purchase!

Anonymous said...

i love stuart's, but it's soooooo expensive so eventually, if i have to choose i will buy enzo angiolini..

I'd take the Enzo's in a heartbeat!! Great find!

Gorgeous shoes, so similar you can hardly pick the difference.

Rick said...

since we splurged last time, it's ok to be frugal this week. And the Enzo's would allow a lady to do so in style, arguably moreso given the higher heel. I actually really like the wood detailing at the front toe.

(can't wait for you to see my latest post. there's something just for you :)

Megan said...

I like them both, but I would pick the Stuart Weitzman.

Ruby Mines said...

wow I adore these! What a great find. The color elongates your legs and I love the bows!
