Hungry for the Holidays Giveaway

Lovers, the holidays are a truly wondrous time of year, full of twinkling fairy lights, carols being sung by big and small, mistletoe and holly hanging about, and, best of all, parties galore which require one to dress in their finest, yet come with one wicked entity…the expansion of our waistlines due to hearty food and drink. Luckily, there is a way to avoid such a weighty disaster, yet still indulge in scrummy treats for the holidays!

Surprise, surprise, darlings! Café Fashionista has teamed up with St. Martin’s Griffin to bring two (2) lucky ladies a copy of Lisa Lillien’s Hungry Girl Happy Hour - a pocket-sized tome brimming with 75 glamorously guilt-free cocktail and party food recipes (Pump-Up-the-Jam Cocktail Weenies, anyone?) that will satisfy one’s holiday food cravings and yearnings without wreaking havoc on one’s waistline!

To Enter the Hungry for the Holidays Giveaway:

For one (1) entry, leave a comment on this post stating what your favorite holiday recipe is between now and Friday, December 16, 2011 at midnight PST.

For two (2) entries, Tweet about this giveaway, and leave a comment on this post stating what your favorite holiday recipe is between now and Friday, December 16, 2011 at midnight PST with your Twitter URL.

I will randomly pick two (2) names out of a hat (who knows, it could be yours!), and announce the winner on Saturday, December 17, 2011.

Good luck everyone!

This Giveaway is open to Everyone – U.S., Canadian, and International residents!

Fashionably yours!

Great giveaway! My favorite has to be sufganiot, which is a special kind of donut which is eaten for the Jewish holiday of Hanukka (around the same time as Christmas). They are basically like regular donuts, but you can fill them with tons of stuff, like jam, chocolate or whatever you like. My favorites have dulce de leche filling :)

I think my favorite Christmas recipe would be my father's stuffing (though we call it dressing at home). I made it a couple of years back and it was delicious, although I doubt it would ever be as good as how my dad made it.
