Can we just talk about how epic the formula for this polish is for a minute? Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polish is exactly what it says – a complete salon manicure in two simple coats. The formula contains base coat and top coat, so you do not need anything more than this little bottle. I was a little apprehensive about not using a base coat {especially for a color this dark}, as I was worried about staining; but I experienced zero - along with zero chips for the 6 days that I wore it. Plus, it retained its glossiness {yes, without the addition of a separate top coat} from day 1 through day of removal. Highly, highly, highly recommended - especially for all of you ladies who want glam nails but don’t have the time.
Special Note: Thank you to Carrie of Couture Carrie for introducing me to this brand. If you remember the Holiday Blog Swap I did back in December with Carrie, you may recall that I mentioned having received this polish from CC.

sad fact: i haven't painted my nails in FOREVZ - even tho i keep buying new polishes
I just received my first bottles of the Salon Manicure formula from Sally Hansen: two super sheer colors and a pretty copper glitter. Now I'm super stoked to try them out after hearing you rave about the formula! I may even go out and pick up a few more deeper shades so that I can compare the difference! That shade of red looks divine on you dahling!
That's a gorgeous color!
Very sexy!
I'm wearing a dark army green color from Essie today... cannot for the life of me remember what it's called.

Beautiful color especially with a grey or cream color jumper...
♥
no chips for 6 days?!?! Holy heck! That's amazing- really. Looks phenomenal.
Every time you post a picture of your nails I am mesmerized by how luscious they are! :)
This color is so pretty and I think you've sold me on the brand. I would be scared not to use a top coat, cause in my experience, polish chips on day 2 without a top coat! I'll certainly give this a try, though. Thanks for the recommendation!
Very sexy! And I can't believe it didn't chip for 6 days! Thats incredible!

Oh my goodness, that is a GORGEOUS colour. Not too bold yet still rich red. I love Sally Hansen, for a drugstore nail polish they're phenomenal. Hope everything's been going great with you! :)
That color is gorgeous! As creative as some nail shades can get, I think red will still always be my favorite.
I like the accent nail too!

Oooh, such a fab colour for winter, and I love it with your grey jumper too! And I love that you don't need a top coat, that's unusual.
RE: your comment to me- yes, Erika! I would suggest a crock pot! It makes you feel like a Professional Chef when really- you're just putting things in a bucket and hitting a button :)
Beautiful! Love that color!
