it's not pink, it's blush {AMIClubwear Handbag Review}

Back when I first started shopping Online, AMIClubwear was one of my favorite sites to browse and buy because the quality of the products offered coupled with the broke-college-student pricepoints made nearly everything attainable {not to mention covetable}. Needless to say, when AMIClubwear e-mailed about a partnership, I was bounce-in-my-seat excited, and immediately said yes!

My mission? Select a product to review. My pick? The Dusty Pink Faux Leather Studded Stylish Tote Handbag for two reasons. 1} The color + stud detailing was almost identical to the nail art I did here. 2} It reminded me of Valentino's The Rockstud Small Leather Trapeze Bag.

Go ahead and take a swoon...I'll wait.

Available in Black, Blue, Camel, Fuchsia, Olive, and Wine; I felt that the Dusty Pink was most likely to complement my Spring wardrobe {which consists primarily of whites, cremes, and pastels}...it did.

The color of this bag could best be described as a dulce de leche caramel nude with a blush undertone - slightly different from what I expected; but perhaps even more adored. What made this particular piece appealing to me {a self-professed beauty fanatic who rarely gravitates away from skinny jeans}, was the fusion between dainty femininity {the overall color} and edgy rebelliousness {the stud detailing}. It's a juxtaposition between two styles that mirrors my own personal preference in terms of fashion {i.e. I'll wear the little white dress; but I'll pair it with my Rag & Bone Classic Newbury Boots}.

Size-wise this bag is perfect for brunching with the babes or shopping 'til you drop. I will admit that, empty, this bag is heavier than what I'm used to {a hazard of the stud detailing}; but if you pare your belongings down slightly, it's not an issue. The fact that there's a detachable crossbody strap also makes the additional weight more tolerable. Definitely one of my favorite acquisitions for spring - bonus for the retro kisslock closure!
