OMG babes, I love love loved July's Pool Party edition, but I think August's #GlossySunkiss trumps even that - due, in large part, to Trifle Cosmetics' Guilty Pug Lip Parfait. I mean, that packaging!

For those of you who aren't familiar with GLOSSYBOX, it is a monthly beauty subscription service wherein you receive 5 deluxe size beauty products for $21 a month based on the personal beauty profile you fill out when you sign up.

Since we're in the final stretch of summer, August's box was v much a homage to sunsets and summer flings, offering products for the lips, skin, hair, and eyes. What I loved most about this box was that every. last. product was new to me; therefore, I really had a field day trying them all out. Read on for my thoooughts!

Never have I ever thought that I would get so excited over a hair accessory, but when I found invisibobble's ORIGINAL the traceless hair ring in my box, I had to squee! I have been dying to try these forevs, and for good reason because they. are. fabulush! I am one of those people whose hair never stays up in a bun, but these have changed that - they hold my hair in a bun all day; and, while they do leave creases the way a regular hair tie does, they don't pull out any hair during removal {i.e. you never find hair attached to the tie when you take it out}. My only worry is that they will stretch out quicker than regular hair ties, but only time {and use} will tell. For now it's pure l-o-v-e. Repurchase worthy? Most def - I need all of the colors like now!

This packaging doe! I've never tried an After Sun Lotion before, but I made the error of staying out in the sun too long last week and wound up with bright red sunburn all over one of my shoulders {a rarity as I always apply sunscreen}, so I whipped this bad boy out for a test run. Fact: It was love at first smell, because this stuff has a fragrance from the heavens - a beautiful blend of florals and coconut. The lotion itself is a little bit milky in texture, but doesn't leave you feeling greasy or wet {big plus}; plus, it moisturizes beautifully. Would I re-buy? I'm on the fence. I don't get sunburn often, so I'm not sure if I really need an After Sun Lotion in my beauty arsenal; but the fragrance makes me want to go out and buy a full-size!

I honestly don't think cuter packaging exists than what you're seeing right here - I mean, who can resist puppy dog eyes?! Definitely not me! Guilty Pug is an interesting shade, it leans orange-based coral on me which I'm, truth be told, not craaazy about; but, I've kind of found a way around it that makes it a more wearable shade for my pale skintone. I apply two coats, blot, then top it with a nude-y lip gloss which gives it a more natural, neutral look {perfect for pairing with smoky eyes}. Re-buy? This is a full-size, so I think it will last me a good, long while; but I probably wouldn't re-buy {despite that adorbs packaging and name}, because the color just isn't my thang. Womp womp.

I'm a huge fan of hair oils, and use a few different ones already, so I was really excited to try Wella Professionals Oil Reflections Smoothing Oil - and I'm not just saying that because the packaging reminds me of a pretty sunset. I typically use argan oils on my hair, but the blend of avocado, macadamia, and vitamin E oils was a nice change. This one was a total winner for me, as you don't need much {one to two sprays}, it doesn't weigh hair down, and it really adds a nice glossy finish to strands. That said, it does contain alcohol, which I don't always love in my hair products. Would I Repurchase? Maybe, maybe not. It's v similar to other products I own which are slightly less expensive, so I don't think this would replace those.

I don't often wear waterproof mascara due to the fact that removing it is such. a. chore; but during the summer months it's a necessity for pool days, so I wish that I would have discovered Too Faced's Mascara Melt Off Cleansing Oil Waterproof Mascara Dissolver sooner because it is awesome. Ordinarily I rely on Vaseline to remove regular mascara, but it typically leaves behind traces {raccoon eyes}; and when we're talking waterproof mascara I wind up with eye irritation after removal. With Too Faced's Mascara Melt Off Cleansing Oil Waterproof Mascara Dissolver I brushed my lashes from base to tip, waited a few minutes for the cleansing oil to take effect on the lashes, then wiped away, and my eyes were 100% clean! Also pertinent: no more waking up in the morning to black remnants in my tear ducts from yesterday's mascara! Repurchase? Yes, yes, yes! This stuff is Holy Grail-worthy!

I don't love clay masks. In fact, I tend to avoid them as I don't enjoy the feeling while they're on my face; so I was pretty apprehensive when I found BORGHESE's Fango Active Mud for Face + Body in my box. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a whirl as I've heard good things, and I really {reallyreallyreally} liked it. Granted, I wasn't a fan of the smell, and the tingling sensation could be a little intense {there's a non-tingling one for sensitive skin if you can't handle the tingle}; but the product itself made my skin glow, and tightened my pores. What I truly loved about it, however, was the versatility. You can use this product allll over the body {back, shoulders, chest...}. Would I Repurchase? I think so. Like I said, the smell wasn't my fave; but the stellar effects make it worthy of a repurchase.

Now this is one fun box!

I definitely want to try out those fun-colored, springy hair rings! I HATE it when I pull my hair tie out at the end of the day and sad, little hairs come with it...ouch!

And that pug packaging...my GAWD. I don't even wear lipstick, but I'd be tempted to just to have that sweet packaging on my self. I don't think the orange-coral would be very flattering on me either. I also have skin on the fair side.

What I should really look into is the after-sun lotion. I do a nice job of applying my sunscreen (I avoided getting sunburn all summer--go me!), but it would just be nice to have on hand during those awful times when the sun gets the best of my skin.
