Gold and silver reputedly work with anything and everything. Colored baubles are ideal for those days when you desire a splash of luminosity to light up your life. Oh, but lambs, there are others to be considered. What for the brass and copper? The platinum and plastic? The beaded and diamoned? Or, my personal favorite…the wooden?
One day I find myself in a torrent of jaw-dropping jewels draped over my body; the next, I am a bohemian goddess, and I most certainly don’t want to accessorize with the same types of trinkets that would adorn my form at a chichi cocktail party. No; flowy dresses, hippie headbands, draping tunics, sassily tousled bedhead, these things call for minimal accessories. Bits and pieces that will simply add dimension and volume to your look, and enhance your style, as opposed to overwhelming the tree-hugging persona you are trying to put forth. It is coordinates like this that simply scream for big bangles of the wooden variety that keep your ensemble looking effortless yet enticing. Like Lane Bryant’s Textured Wood Bangle Bracelet.
The chocolate brown Textured Wood Bangle Bracelet is shaped in a way that makes it retain a very basic air, while sporting bonuses that make it more refined than your typical wooden offering. Grooves orbit the woody wonder; while a mitered edge and silvertone seed beads add a little rock and roll sparkle to the beatnik beauty.
Let it mingle with natural earth tones when you want to blend in; pair it with more classic bright colors when you want it to take center stage. No matter how you wear it, the spicy, free spirit is sure to shine through.
What's your take on the wooden bangle?
Fashionably yours!
Thanks to Lane Bryant for the picture.

That is very very beautiful bracelet dear! Would look so good with a white cotton dress and leather sandals.. Buona serata!
Oh yeah. i adore wooden bangle. I have got a nature piece with studded... :-)
XoXo
I love all types of bangles. And the wooden ones are so nice! I love the one you featured. It's so simple and the beading is lovely!
I would wear it with a fuschia pencil skirt, blue tank tucked in and white cropped cardigan. The bangle would add the perfect finishing touch, but it wouldn't detract from the great shape of the pencil skirt or the ruffles on the tank.
so cute!!!! I have a few of this at home
its chic, but really clunky. i might injure someone with this haha
My take is I looooooooove it. I lifted lots of my Mom's wooden goodies from the seventies!
Nice find, darling!
And you MUST get those Estelle gloves ~ I have them and they are fabulous! Even better in person than in the pic - the material is super-soft!

My small wrists mean that I can't wear big bangles :(. The do look fabulous on other people though. And that one in the picture looks so cool.
i dont own any.. but i dont mind the idea of a wooden bangle tho i probably woudlnt wear it with everything...
I think wooden jewelry is so classy and beautiful! www.Shopmasons.com has all this bohemian fashion jewelry, but they also have really gorgeous pretty jewels.
Fabulous! Not quite my style, but still a lovely pick! It's such a bummer because I can never find bracelets/bangles that fit me ): They always slide right off!

La C.
It looks groovy to me!
This is lovely!
I have a very cute bangle made of ebene that I bought in Tanzania, I really love it, and it can add to my outfit the "bohemian style" sometimes...
Cheers,

Very pretty. My take is smoothly simple. I like the curve of wood against my wrist. Not too chunky, this one is just right.
I agree with you though, cluttering bohemian style does not work. What's your take on floaty 20's and 30's long dress styles though? They dripped jewellery. That is similar to my style at the moment and I am "minimalising" accessories. Thanks for your gorgeous comment :)
I love wooden bangles! Especially when they have details on them like jewels or studs. They can make such a statement!

I think it looks fantastic. I've got an aunt who would definitely wear that.
You're site is bad for my wallet! You keep posting all the things I love. Another great post!
This bangle is cute . If only I could get the same !
i love wooden accessories!
i can't wait to wear my wooden necklace!

many thanks for this
I love wooden bangles, especially when i pile a few of them on my wrist. They pretty much go with everything and they're definitely a staple for my fall wardrobe. Great post!
I love the combination of wood and metal, it always looks so expensive.
i love bangle bracelets so much. and there is just something about wooden jewelry that i find so charming
This is really beautiful, so precious.
I used to love wooden jewelry, but I've been pretty loyal to anything silver/white-gold/platinum for a while now. I also like black leather cuffs or necklaces, but not being a huge fan of the color brown (it just clashes too much with gray and black which I wear the most), I know I'd hardly wear it. A great piece though!
I have waaaaayyy too many of these. Love :)
I don't have one, my god! Off to eBay now. :D
Beautiful! I'm allergic to nickel so I live for accessories that aren't metal!
