♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥

Wearing: Xhilaration Faux Shearling Bomber Jacket in Dark Brown via Target; Forever 21 Fab V-Neck Sweater in Oatmeal; Forever 21 5Mock Pocket Jeggings II in Dark Denim; Forever 21 Rhinestone Arrow Connector Ring.

Reading: All Things Bright and Beautiful by James Herriot. Herriot’s work – specifically The Christmas Day Kitten - is what inspired me to want to be a Veterinarian as a child. While I never actually became one, I still amour his work!

Glamourizing: Nails: Essie Chocolate Cakes (sometimes referred to as Chocolate Kisses). Très scrummy - le color and the dessert it is named for. Lips: mark Shine Tubes Hook Up Lip Gloss in Buttercream Brioche. Eyes: Maybelline New York The Colossal Volum’ Express in Glam Black.

Listening: The Ice Is Getting Thinner by Death Cab for Cutie. Listen tout de suite and you will see precisely why j’adore this song so much. C'est magnifique; Je suis obsédé!

Adoring: Night drives through random neighborhoods to admire the holiday decorations – I highly recommend making un petit stop at Starbucks for White Hot Chocolate beforehand…it makes the entire experience more fabuleux! Sequins, sequins, sequins! Specifically Siwy’s Sequin Hannah Slim Crop Pants, Haute Hippie’s Sequin Stripe Sleeve Dress, and DKNY’s Dolman Sleeve Sequin Sweater. Ooh, love love love! Me le donner maintenant! Lazy afternoons spent whipping up yummy treats in the kitchen! On the menu this weekend is Pretzel Peanut Bark, Hidden Mint Cookies, and Chocolate Pretzels. Délicieux, délicieux, délicieux!

Watching: Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Though my first introduction to one Miss Holly Golightly was via the Truman Capote novella of the same title, I have grown to aimer, admire, et adorer her even more with each viewing. Now, who cares to join me in front of Tiffany’s with flaky croissants and hot chocolate? See you on Fifth Avenue at 8:00am sharp, mes amours!

Desiring: American Apparel’s Wool Cape. No fabuleux girl of the Twenty-First Century should be forced to suffer without a cape in her wardrobe – it is the height of haute; the definition of decadence; the epitome of elegance. J'adore de l'infinité de temps! Very Merry Cookie Party: How to Plan and Host a Cookie Party Exchange by Barbara Grunes – an absolute élément essential for the home library, if you ask me; one should always be ready for a Cookie Swap Party, mais oui? Steve Madden’s Bbryn Satchel. Non, there is no reason to ask me which color I so désir; I would gladly accept any and all of the three heavenly hues – though I do have a soft spot for the Olive.

Quoting: Lady Gaga - “Some women choose to follow men, and some women choose to follow their dreams. If you’re wondering which way to go, remember that your career will never wake up in the morning and tell you that it doesn’t love you anymore.”

Awaiting: Forever 21’s Fab Knit Cami in Heather Gray, Indigo, and Orange. I am le queen of layering; a girl can never have too many cami’s in her closet!

But enough about moi; let’s talk about…vous. Time to give me the lowdown on your life, lovers! What are you up to this week?

Fashionably yours!

Awww!! You are so sweet all layered up, sipping hot coco! I have never seen breakfast at Tiffany's (I know!)And deathcab=<3

I am in love with Orly's this week. I bought three colors! I don't even bother with a top coat because it stays on so well!

Breakfast at Tiffany's is such a classic. It does make me wonder how many people have done just that, stood at the window gazing in, croissant in hand, drinking a hot chocolate or coffee. I wonder if the employees ever witness people doing this?

Anyway, I'd be game to do just that :)

You know I love the "Gaga", but I have to disagree with her statement. In this economy, after decading years to their careers, many folks have been laid off for much younger/cheaper labor :o/ Sounds like the bad relationships she speaks of!

Oh my gosh, I was JUST talking to a customer yesterday about layering! She was buying an open front sweater and a long sleeved t-shirt and couldn't understand why a lacy cami under the t-shirt would be cute. AH! It is all about layering! Plus you can never have enough lazy camis!

♥Quoting: Lady Gaga - “Some women choose to follow men, and some women choose to follow their dreams. If you’re wondering which way to go, remember that your career will never wake up in the morning and tell you that it doesn’t love you anymore.”

My Reply: But YOU may wake up in the morning and discover you don't love IT(career)anymore - same is true for the MAN!!
