♥ Fashionably Moi! ♥

Wearing: Xhilaration Kimono Sleeve Top – Grape Jelly via Target; Hydraulic Distressed Cuffed Denim Shorts in White via Kohl’s; Jessica Simpson Jungle in Sesame; House of Harlow 1960 14KT Horseshoe Stack Ring in Yellow Gold; 18k Gold-Plated Sterling Silver “Carrie” Style Name Necklace via MyNameNecklace.

Reading: Matilda by Roald Dahl. If you have yet to meet Matilda you have no idea what you are missing. Aimer au dixième pouvoir!

Glamourizing: Nails: Nicole by OPI I Love You Cherry Much from the Something About Colors Fall 2011 Collection. Lips: mark Pro Gloss Hook Up Plumping Lip Shine in Splashy. Eyes: mark Get in Line Hook Up Liquid Waterproof Eyeliner in Painted Black.

Listening: Keep You by Class Actress. Listen and prepare to fall in love. J’adore!

Adoring: Graphic tees. They are just playful enough to convey one’s childlike innocence to the world; whilst maintaining an ultra-posh and sophisticated air when paired with towering heels, casually cuffed skinny jeans, and a to-die-for clutch. Mon courant aime? Zoe Karssen’s California Dreaming Tee in Powder Puff, Sophomore’s Boys Boys Boys Tee in Black/Red, and Patterson J. Kincaid’s Disney by Patterson J. Kincaid Thumper Tee in Oatmeal. Très magnifique, oui? Melissa Joy Manning. I believe that Stendhal may have been talking about Ms. Melissa Joy Manning when he stated, “Only great minds can afford a simple style.” The simplicity of each piece is utterly incroyable, featuring just enough personality to spruce up one’s look du jour without being overbearing. J’adore the Heart Bracelet in Gold, Larimar Ring in Blue/Silver, and Turquoise Teardrop Necklace in Turquoise. Deconstructed denim a la Current/Elliott’s The Roller Jeans in Catskill Destroy, and Joe’s Jeans Chelsea Micro Flare Jeans in Brigitte. When topped with Haute Hippie’s Draped Front Halter Top it creates le perfect juxtaposition between glam and oh-so subtle grunge, does it not?

Watching: The Notebook. Ever since I saw this People photo editorial I have re-discovered my adoration for Ryan Gosling. Honestly, it’s not really possible for a girl to resist a cute boy and his equally adorable pup, now is it? Mais non!

Desiring: Olcay Gulsen’s High Split Dress in Green. Everything about this dress is hypnotic – from the body-skimming, whisper-thin material and daring deep V neck and front slit to the subtly shimmering jewel-toned hue. Evanouissement! Etre toujours mon coeur. Lover Cable Knit Sweater in Ecru. Le epitome of the perfect chunky knit, J'ai raison? Wrap me up in your love, Lover! Jean-Michel Cazabat Pam Cutout Wedge Heels. The pointy-toed, sculpted aesthetic is just avant-garde enough to add un petit splash of rebelliousness to an otherwise refined style. Size 36 in Taupe, Tan, et Black, s'il vous plait! After all, good things come in threes, mais oui?

Quoting: Kathleen Tessaro - “If you can capture a woman’s imagination, then you will have her. But imagination is a strange creature. It needs time and distance to function properly.”

Awaiting: Pinky Tiffanie Top in Gold via Alloy. A little sparkle does a body (and wardrobe!) good, mais oui?

But enough about moi; let’s talk about…vous. Time to give me the lowdown on your life, lovers! What are you up to this week?

Fashionably yours!
