Hm, of all the suggestions, I like the toss the to-do list and do something spontaneous. There's nothing better than an unplanned day, with maybe an excursion to a new town, new coffee shop, new sights to inspire us. And this comes from a serious to-do list follower, too. I can appreciate the freedom of a day without one!

As an American Literature student, I well and truly appreciate the Emerson quote!! I am a slave to my To-Do lists, i admit, I love to plan. But sometimes it's great fun to go do what you want!!
